Hello, my name is Aydee Lopez, aka Dee, and I am the Director and Owner of Dee’s Little Champs Daycare.In my previous role at Nassau County Child Protective Services, I was responsible for investigating cases of child abuse and maltreatment. It was an extremely rewarding career but I decided to open a daycare so I can provide children in my community with a safe, nurturing and educational environment.
I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and have a Child Development Associate Credential from the CDA National Credentialing Program. I am passionate about creating an environment where children can develop at their own pace and plan a range of educational and fun activities that promote social, physical and intellectual growth.
I work closely with parents, providing them with regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns they might have. In addition to my professional experience, I am a patient, caring, and energetic mother. I understand the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for children can thrive.
